Stephen C. Jones is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group and the Patent Counseling & Prosecution Group of Morrison & Foerster’s Los Angeles office. Mr. Jones’s practice focuses on U.S. and foreign patent protection in a variety of technology fields, including consumer electronics, telecommunications devices, and Internet-based technologies. Representative clients include Apple, Yamaha, and Emulex.
Mr. Jones received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Louisa S Porter of the United States District Court, Southern District of California.
Prior to attending law school, he worked at a large analytics company performing machine learning research. Mr. Jones received his B.S., with distinction, in Computer Science from Harvey Mudd College.
