Please join us for a special presentation by Daniel Hughes covering open-source software and the problematic license terms and recent efforts to enforce them. This presentation will qualify for 1 hour of CLE credit.
Daniel Hughes is a partner at Knobbe Martens who represents clients in intellectual property disputes, with a focus on patent litigation. Daniel is also a member of the firm’s antitrust practice group. He has extensive experience in contentious Patent Office proceedings and regularly counsels clients in pre-litigation matters.

I am a partner at Duane Morris where I prosecute chemistry and life sciences patents. I Have pre-law work experience as a manager at UCSD’s Technology Transfer Office, and a scientist at Illumina. I would like to engage a wider range of IP professionals (in-house, university tech transfer) to participate and present at SDIPLA events.
