This presentation will provide an introduction to several trademark considerations and issues facing healthcare and medical device companies, including topics related to: trademark clearance, trademark and copyright filing strategy, use in commerce, FDA approval of trademarks, non-traditional marks in the pharmaceutical sector, and more. The presentation will discuss real-world examples of common trademark pitfalls and provide general tips on how to protect healthcare and medical device brands. Jessica Sganga (Partner) and Marissa Rosenbaum (Associate) of Knobbe Martens will be presenting.
This presentation will qualify for 1 hour of CLE credit.

Peebles IP Inn of Court, earning the Inn Platinum Status. I serve on AIPLA’s Amicus Committee and am the Chair of the Food and Drug Law Committee’s Amicus Subcommittee.
